We had to turn the car in by 11:30, but our flight wasn’t until 7:15. We checked with the Vueling ticket counter to see if we could get on an earlier flight. It would have cost at least 70€ (about $105) to change flights. We decided that we could wait. It was actually really good for us. We had wireless internet, reading material, and a deck of cards. Not too bad of way to slow down and relax.
We arrived safely in Barcelona. For my family and high school friends, you’ll be proud of my husband. He got us reservations in the Silken Concordia hotel.
